REDEMPTION – KEEPING YOUR CAR AND PAYING LESS
Instead of paying full price you may be able to redeem your vehicle in Chapter 7 if you qualify and only pay the value
In a redemption you pay only what the car is worth in a lump sum. You can get a loan from a friend, relative, or any other lawful source, but it is sometimes hard to get such a loan, not because you are not credit worthy, but because most lenders do not understand the process.
The only lender that presently lends to Texas residents is Redemption Funding, Inc. of Sweetwater, Tennessee. I have had clients use this lender in the past and I have only good experiences to share. You can download the application by clicking here.. You can also call them at (423) 337-7572.
